Renee's Background
Renee brings together a unique combination of practice in Therapeutic Massage, Biodynamic Craniosacral, Polarity, Aromatherapy, and Foot Zone Therapies.  Renee’s life work in Healing Modalities began in 1974 in Boulder, Colorado.  She attended the Acadia School of Massage in Seattle Washington and became certified in 1978.  From 1979-1981, she studied Alternative Healing Modalities at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, focusing on polarity, nutrition, dream therapy, dance/movement therapy, naturopathic medicine, color and sound therapies, and plant medicine.  While in the Northwest, she continued Advanced Studies in Polarity Therapy with Dr. Lawrence Caruso.  In 1985, Renee and her family settled into Wisconsin's Kickapoo Valley where she practiced for over 29 years and raised five children with her husband, James.  She received certification in Foot Zone Therapy in 2007, certification in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in 2014, and she is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

In late 2015, the family moved back to Colorado, bringing Renee's practice full circle back to the Boulder area.  Her client base has included people from all ages and walks of life, from newborns to great-grandparents, Amish homesteaders to business professionals.  She is comfortable with any population, age, and works well with disabilities.  She has had the honor of bringing Foot Zone Therapy to high school classrooms, establishing an Employee Wellness Program with Organic Valley, and teaching other practitioners her unique pendulum polarity methods.  She has a great respect and appreciation for the body’s ability to heal itself, with the practitioner’s role as participant in the facilitation of that process.  She considers it a privilege and honor to be of service to others.
